The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is a bit better than LG Q8, getting a overall score of 84.2 against 77.2. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) design is newer and just a bit thinner, but heavier than the LG Q8. The LG Q8 has a much better display than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater display pixels density.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) features a bigger storage for games and applications than LG Q8, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 1,45 TB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage. Galaxy A7 (2018) features a little faster processing unit than LG Q8, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.

The LG Q8 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a lot less mega-pixels back camera and a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light images, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video quality and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
