Comparison review
The Xperia XZ1 has a general score of 78.3, which is slightly better than LG Q8's score of 77.2. The Xperia XZ1 body is a little bit thinner but just a little heavier than the LG Q8, and both of them were released with only a few months difference. LG Q8 has a brighter display than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a display with the same size, the LG Q8 also has a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a higher pixel density.
Xperia XZ1 features just a bit better hardware performance than LG Q8, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia XZ1 also has a larger number of faster cores. Xperia XZ1 has more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Xperia XZ1 also has 32 GB more internal memory.
The LG Q8 features a bit better battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has an 11 percent larger battery capacity. Xperia XZ1 takes clearer pictures and videos than LG Q8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a back-facing camera with a higher 19 MP resolution and a bigger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
