The Sony Xperia XZ1 features a superior hardware performance than LG V10, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has more CPU cores.

The LG V10 features a sharper screen than Xperia XZ1, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a quite larger display and a little greater screen density. The Xperia XZ1 and LG V10 both feature quite similar memory to store more games and applications, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB and exactly the same internal memory capacity.

LG V10 captures slightly better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor, a back camera with less mega-pixels and a worse (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture.
