Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than LG V20's general score of 77. Although it's the best cellphone we are comparing here, we must note that it is also older, just a little thicker and a bit heavier. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit superior CPU than LG V20, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a greater number of cores (and also faster).
The LG V20 features a little bit better display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better number of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The LG V20 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the LG V20 also has a much better (4K) video resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments.
The LG V20 features a quite bigger storage to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 8 has greater battery performance than LG V20, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V20, giving up a couple specs and features.
