Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is a bit better than LG V20's general score of 77. Galaxy Note 5 is a a bit lighter phone than LG V20, but both are 0.3inches thick. The Galaxy Note 5 has a better screen than LG V20. Both of them have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, a display with the same size and the same screen pixels density.

The LG V20 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the LG V20 also has a larger number of faster cores. LG V20 has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG V20 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The LG V20 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 7 percent larger battery size. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 captures just a bit better photos and videos than LG V20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking pictures and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a 16 megapixels back camera and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a larger sensor which gives a better image and video quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V20. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG V20, letting go some specifications.
