Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than the LG V20's 77 overall score. The Galaxy Note8 body is newer than LG V20's, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker. Galaxy Note8 has a little better hardware performance than LG V20, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
The Galaxy Note8 features a little sharper screen than LG V20, because it has a little better display pixels density, a little larger screen and a slightly higher 1440 x 2960 resolution. The LG V20 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs and a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG V20 also counts with a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.
The LG V20 counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG V20 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit longer battery life than LG V20, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the LG V20, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
