Comparison review

Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than LG V20, getting a general score of 81.7 against 77. Galaxy S8's body is a little thicker but lighter than LG V20, and both were released only 7 months apart. Galaxy S8 counts with a bit better looking screen than LG V20, because it has a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2960, a bit larger screen and a little greater pixel number per screen inch.

LG V20 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG V20 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit better performance than LG V20, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S8 also has a higher number of cores (and also faster).

LG V20 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting images and video in low-light environments and a tinier camera sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG V20 also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera.

LG V20 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has a 7% bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V20. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy LG V20, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
