Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a general score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than LG V20's overall score of 77. Galaxy S8 Active is a newer phone than the LG V20, although it's heavier and notably thicker. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a slightly better looking display than LG V20, because it has a quite better 1440 x 2960 resolution, a little bit higher count of pixels per inch of display and a little larger display.
Galaxy S8 Active counts with just a little better processing power than LG V20, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a higher number of faster cores. The LG V20 counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG V20 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features improved battery life than LG V20, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh. The LG V20 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures or video in low-light situations and a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video resolution, the LG V20 also counts with a much better resolution back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. If you prefer to save some money, you can get LG V20, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
