Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 has an overall score of 77.6, which is a bit better than the LG V20's 77 score. The Xperia Z5 construction is a bit thinner and lighter than LG V20, although it was released about 13 months before. Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better processing power than LG V20, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and more processing cores.
The Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better looking display than LG V20, although it has a little bit smaller display, a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Xperia Z5 counts with a slightly better camera than LG V20, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more MP.
The LG V20 counts with much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. LG V20 has just a bit longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG V20. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V20, letting go a couple features and specifications.
