Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a general score of 79, which is slightly better than LG V20's 77 score. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a lot newer than LG V20, it is thicker and somewhat heavier. LG V20 features a little bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
LG V20 has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V20 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a bit better processor than LG V20, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a larger number of cores (and also faster).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a much better battery duration than LG V20, because it has a 57% larger battery size. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a much better camera than LG V20, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a way bigger back camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher resolution camera.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V20. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG V20, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
