Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the LG V30's 79.1 score. Although the Huawei Mate 20 is newer than LG V30, it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than LG V30. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM.
The Huawei Mate 20 and LG V30 have similar displays, because although the Huawei Mate 20 has way less pixels per inch in the display and a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2244, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. LG V30 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei Mate 20 has a camera that is very similar to the camera in LG V30, because although the Huawei Mate 20 has a worse (4K) video quality, a lot less megapixels resolution back camera and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photos and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with superior battery performance than LG V30, because it has a 21% greater battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V30. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the LG V30, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
