The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a bit better than the LG V30's general score of 79.1. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than the LG V30. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than LG V30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than LG V30, and although they both have the same pixel density, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a bit bigger screen. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots better videos and photos than LG V30, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing images or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot better resolution back facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality videos and photographs.
LG V30 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with better battery life than LG V30, because it has a 27 percent more battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V30. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG V30, giving up some specifications.
