Huawei Mate X is much better than LG V30, getting an 89.4 score against 79.1. Huawei Mate X's design is incredibly newer, but thicker and incredibly heavier than the LG V30. LG V30 features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a quite lower 1440 x 2880 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
Huawei Mate X has a bit more powerful processor than LG V30, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM memory. The LG V30 features a better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back facing camera with much less megapixels resolution and a much smaller camera sensor, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better images in poorly lited situations.
The Huawei Mate X features a much bigger storage for apps and games than LG V30, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate X has improved battery performance than LG V30, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V30. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG V30, letting go some specs and features.
