LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than LG V30, having a general score of 84.3 against 79.1. Although LG G8 ThinQ is newer than the LG V30, it is just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit faster processing unit than LG V30, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

LG G8 ThinQ has a bit sharper display than LG V30, because it has a little bit greater screen pixels density, a bit higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a little bit larger display. LG G8 ThinQ counts with more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG V30, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.

LG G8 ThinQ has just a bit better battery performance than LG V30, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3300mAh. LG G8 ThinQ takes just a bit better photos and videos than LG V30, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels, it also counts with a larger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photos and a larger camera aperture.
