Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is slightly better than the LG V30, getting an 85.3 score against 79.1. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 design is notably newer and noticeably thinner than LG V30's, but it's a lot heavier. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a little bit better looking screen than LG V30, because although it has a way lower pixel quantity per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1892 x 2688 resolution and a lot larger screen.
The LG V30 counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little bit better performance than LG V30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features better battery life than LG V30, because it has a 35% greater battery capacity. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 and LG V30 count with very similar cameras, although the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a much less MP resolution back-facing camera, a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and video in low-light situations.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V30. If you want to save some money, you can get LG V30, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
