The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is a little bit better than the LG V30's 79.1 score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A42 is newer than the LG V30, it is thicker and somewhat heavier. LG V30 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A42. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
LG V30 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater display density and a lot higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. Galaxy A42 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than LG V30, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy A42 has a way better battery lifetime than LG V30, because it has a 52 percent greater battery capacity.
