Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has an overall score of 79.2, which is a little bit better than the LG V30's global score of 79.1. Despite being the best phone in this review, it must be told that it is also somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier. LG V30 counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a quite bigger screen, a little greater pixels amount in each display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px.
The LG V30 has a bit better performance than Galaxy A8 (2018). They have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores. LG V30 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG V30 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG V30 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have the same resolution camera, the LG V30 also has a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to take better images in poorly lited environments. LG V30 has a bit longer battery life than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
