Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is a bit better than the LG V30's 79.1 score. Although the Galaxy S5 is extremely older and just a little bit thicker than the LG V30, it's body is still just a little lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a little bit better hardware performance than LG V30, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a more vivid display than LG V30, because although it has a bit smaller display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little better pixel count per screen inch. LG V30 and Galaxy S5 have incredibly similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S5 has a lot tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photography, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same video resolution and a camera with a 16 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor.
LG V30 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. LG V30 features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs more than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V30. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V30, resigning some features and specifications.
