Comparison review

The LG V30 has an overall score of 79.1, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 score. The LG V30 is a notably newer and a little thinner cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, although it's a bit heavier. Galaxy S5 Plus's CPU is very similar to LG V30's processing unit, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a lower number of cores (but faster) and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU.

The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit better display than LG V30, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, a little smaller display and a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution. The LG V30 captures clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same resolution back facing camera, the LG V30 also counts with a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments.

LG V30 counts with a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG V30 counts with improved battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG V30 is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy LG V30, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple specs and features.
