Samsung Galaxy S9 is a little bit better than LG V30, having an 83.3 score against 79.1. Samsung Galaxy S9's construction is thicker and just a little heavier than the LG V30. Galaxy S9 features a little sharper screen than LG V30, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.

The LG V30 has much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy S9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG V30 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a bit faster processing unit than LG V30. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

The Galaxy S9 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than LG V30, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos.

The LG V30 features just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
