Comparison review

The Xperia 1 is a little bit better than LG V30, having a score of 82.6 against 79.1. Xperia 1 is a newer cellphone than LG V30, but it is somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker. The Xperia 1 counts with a little bit better looking display than LG V30, because it has a little larger screen, a better 1644 x 3840px resolution and a just a little more pixels per screen inch.

The LG V30 features a little bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xperia 1, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit better processor than LG V30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more RAM.

The Xperia 1's battery life is just as good as LG V30's battery duration, although the Xperia 1 also has a 1 percent bigger battery size. LG V30 captures clearer pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing worse quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same video resolution and a F1.6 camera aperture, the LG V30 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and better video frame rates.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V30. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 1, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG V30, giving up a couple specs and features.
