Comparison review

Sony Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is much better than the LG V30's 79.1 score. Sony Xperia 5 II's construction is way newer, but just a bit heavier and a little thicker than the LG V30. LG V30 features just a bit better display than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880px.

Sony Xperia 5 II has a bit more powerful CPU than LG V30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 5 II captures clearer videos and photos than LG V30, because although it has a camera in the back with a much lower 12 MP resolution, a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs.

Xperia 5 II features a bit bigger storage capacity for apps and games than LG V30, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia 5 II features longer battery lifetime than LG V30, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V30. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the LG V30, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
