The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a bit better than the LG V30, getting a 79.8 score against 79.1. Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a just a little thicker and heavier phone than the LG V30. Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a CPU that is very similar to LG V30's processing unit, they have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a better looking screen than LG V30, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The LG V30 features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG V30 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG V30 has just a little better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3230mAh. Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit better camera than LG V30, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light images, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a way larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a back facing camera with more mega pixels.
