Comparison review

Xperia Z5 Premium is a bit better than the LG V30, getting a 79.8 score against 79.1. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison, Xperia Z5 Premium's body is older, somewhat heavier and a little thicker than the LG V30. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a CPU that's very similar to LG V30's processing unit, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has less RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, it also counts with a graphics processor.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better screen than LG V30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a higher display pixels density. The Xperia Z5 Premium takes a bit better photographs and videos than LG V30, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better 23 MP resolution and a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality.

The LG V30 has a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal memory. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little better battery duration than LG V30, because it has a 3430mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V30. If you want to save some money, you can buy LG V30, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
