Comparison review
LG V30 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, with a 79.1 score against 75.9. The LG V30 is a a little lighter and just a little thinner device than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, even when both were released with only a couple of months difference. The LG V30 and the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE feature really similar screens, although the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a just a little worse pixel density, a little smaller display and a way worse 1080 x 2244 resolution.
The LG V30 has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The LG V30 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V30 also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger aperture for better low light photos and video.
The LG V30 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V30 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V30 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3120mAh.
