Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the LG V30's 79.1 general score. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a just a little thicker and heavier phone than the LG V30. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a little better hardware performance than LG V30, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The LG V30 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a same size screen, the LG V30 also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a higher pixels density. LG V30 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG V30 also counts with a lot better 16 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a larger aperture to take better photos and videos in low light environments.
LG V30 has a better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit better battery life than LG V30, because it has a 3400mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V30. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy LG V30, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
