Asus ROG Phone 5 has a global score of 84.7, which is just a bit better than the LG V30S ThinQ's score of 82.5. Even though Asus ROG Phone 5 is newer than the LG V30S ThinQ, it's way heavier and incredibly thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit better processing power than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a little more vivid screen than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a much worse pixels density and a way worse 1080 x 2448 resolution, it also counts with a bit larger display. The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures a lot better photographs and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way better video definition and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
LG V30S ThinQ features a very superior storage for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
