Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is a bit better than the Huawei P20's score of 78.1. The LG V30S ThinQ is a just a little thinner and a bit lighter phone than Huawei P20, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has older 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a little bit better processing power than Huawei P20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM. LG V30S ThinQ features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880, a greater pixels density and a bit bigger screen.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei P20 has just a bit longer battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3% more battery size.

Huawei P20 counts with a bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution, a lower (4K) video quality and a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save some money and get the Huawei P20, letting go some features and specs.
