Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ is a little bit better than OnePlus 8, getting an 82.5 score against 76. The LG V30S ThinQ body is lighter and a little thinner than OnePlus 8, although it was released many years before. OnePlus 8 has a little more vivid screen than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little bit worse number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit larger screen.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with much more storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit faster CPU than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The OnePlus 8 features better battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 30% bigger battery size. OnePlus 8 captures much better photographs and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photographs and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 also counts with better video frame rates, a much better 48 MP resolution camera and a way bigger back camera sensor shooting lot better quality photographs and videos.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy OnePlus 8, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
