Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's overall score of 81.7. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0, offering some additional features and performance enhancements. LG V30S ThinQ is a newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better processing unit than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has 4 less CPU cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy Note Edge has a much better looking screen than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440, a little worse screen pixel density and a little bit smaller screen.

Galaxy Note Edge and LG V30S ThinQ count with quite similar cameras, because although the Galaxy Note Edge has a much smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same resolution camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rate, it also counts with a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

LG V30S ThinQ features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has more internal storage and a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 3000mAh.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note Edge. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Note Edge, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
