The LG V30S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s global score of 79.3. Even though the LG V30S ThinQ is way newer than the Galaxy S6 edge+, it's just a little bit thicker and a bit heavier. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but LG V30S ThinQ has 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version.
The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit better display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a quite worse pixel count in each inch of screen, a little smaller screen and a quite lower 2560 x 1440px resolution.
The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S6 edge+ has just a bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos in low-light environments, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 16 megapixels resolution, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
The LG V30S ThinQ has just a little better battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, giving up a couple features and specifications.
