LG V30S ThinQ is slightly better than Xperia 5, having a global score of 82.5 against 81. Even though LG V30S ThinQ is older than the Xperia 5, it's construction is just a little lighter and just a bit thinner. The LG V30S ThinQ has just a bit better display than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels.

LG V30S ThinQ features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG V30S ThinQ also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia 5 features a little bit better performance than LG V30S ThinQ. Both of them have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM.

The LG V30S ThinQ shoots clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing lower quality images, and they both have the same camera aperture, the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a back camera with way more megapixels.
