Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 general score. Both devices we are comparing here have Android operating system, but LG V30S ThinQ has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The LG V30S ThinQ construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but also just a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a display that's just as good as LG V30S ThinQ's screen, although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, a bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a way tinier sensor which provides a way worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture for better low light images and videos and a much better 16 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
LG V30S ThinQ features a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG V30S ThinQ has a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi 5s. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
