LG V35 ThinQ is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2, getting an 81.3 score against 79.1. Even when the LG V35 ThinQ and Xperia XZ2 were released only 2 months apart, the LG V35 ThinQ is notably thinner and a lot lighter. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a display that is just as good as the LG V35 ThinQ one, although the Sony Xperia XZ2 has a bit smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per screen inch.
LG V35 ThinQ has a bit faster processor than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG V35 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM. Xperia XZ2 takes slightly better photographs and videos than LG V35 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photographs in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a more mega-pixels camera.
The LG V35 ThinQ counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the LG V35 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V35 ThinQ counts with just a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3180mAh.
