The LG V40 ThinQ has an overall score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR's global score of 77.4. LG V40 ThinQ's body is newer, just a little bit lighter and thinner than Asus ZenFone AR. The LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a higher number of faster cores.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit better screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a bit larger display, a just a bit better pixel amount per inch of screen and a slightly better 1440 x 3120 resolution. Asus ZenFone AR features a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone AR also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Asus ZenFone AR's camera is just as good as the LG V40 ThinQ one, because although the Asus ZenFone AR has lower 24 frames per second video frame rate and a much smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light captures and video, and they both have a 0.38 inches sensor and the same video resolution, it also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.

The LG V40 ThinQ and the Asus ZenFone AR both feature incredibly similar batteries.
