Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it provides a couple additional features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy M31 construction is newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than the LG V40 ThinQ.

LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit better performance than Galaxy M31. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a same size display, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a better pixel density.

The LG V40 ThinQ has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a much longer battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has an 82 percent more battery size.

Galaxy M31 shoots better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back camera with a lot better 64 mega pixels resolution and a lot larger sensor taking much higher quality photographs.
