LG V40 ThinQ is slightly better than the Galaxy S4, getting a general score of 81.2 against 77.3. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but LG V40 ThinQ has older 10 version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4.2. The LG V40 ThinQ body is noticeably newer and just a little thinner, but also extremely heavier than Galaxy S4.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM and more processing cores. Galaxy S4 features a slightly better looking display than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, a lot lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a way smaller display.
