The LG V40 ThinQ is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, getting a overall score of 81.2 against 79.3. LG V40 ThinQ's design is way newer, but a little heavier and a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the LG V40 ThinQ has a newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better looking display than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a bit worse 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a bit smaller display and a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

The LG V40 ThinQ captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera, and they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, the LG V40 ThinQ also counts with a way bigger aperture for better images and video in poorly lited environments.

LG V40 ThinQ features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG V40 ThinQ features just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
