LG V40 ThinQ has an overall score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2's global score of 79.1. The LG V40 ThinQ is a lighter and noticeably thinner cellphone than Sony Xperia XZ2, even though they were released with only 7 months difference. LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2 and LG V40 ThinQ both feature really similar screens, although the Sony Xperia XZ2 has a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, a little worse screen density and a bit smaller display. The Xperia XZ2 features a little bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
LG V40 ThinQ features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. LG V40 ThinQ has a little better battery performance than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 4% more battery capacity.
