Comparison review

LG V40 ThinQ has a general score of 81.2, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia XZ3's 79.6 score. Even when LG V40 ThinQ and Sony Xperia XZ3 were only released with a couple months difference, LG V40 ThinQ is notably thinner and somewhat lighter. These devices have Android operating system, but the LG V40 ThinQ has older 10 version and Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Xperia XZ3 features a little bit better display than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a bit smaller display, they both have the same display pixel density. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit better processor than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM.

LG V40 ThinQ has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XZ3 has a slightly better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates and a way tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also counts with a much higher resolution camera and a bigger back camera sensor.

The Xperia XZ3 has a battery duration that's just as good as the battery duration in LG V40 ThinQ, although the Xperia XZ3 also has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

LG V40 ThinQ is not only the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes this phone an obvious call.
