The LG V50 ThinQ is slightly better than Google Pixel 2 XL, with a overall score of 83.7 against 82.5. LG V50 ThinQ's design is newer than the Google Pixel 2 XL's, but it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier. The LG V50 ThinQ has a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of pixels per inch of display, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a bit larger screen.
LG V50 ThinQ has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V50 ThinQ also has more RAM. LG V50 ThinQ features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG V50 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
LG V50 ThinQ takes a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with lesser MP resolution, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the LG V50 ThinQ also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better images in low-light environments.
The LG V50 ThinQ has just a little better battery duration than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 14 percent more battery size.
Although LG V50 ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy LG V50 ThinQ, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 2 XL, giving up some specifications.
