Huawei Mate X is slightly better than LG V50 ThinQ, getting an 89.4 score against 83.7. The Huawei Mate X design is heavier and a lot thicker than LG V50 ThinQ. These phones use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10. LG V50 ThinQ features just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.

The LG V50 ThinQ features a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate X, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate X has a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.

The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back camera with a lot worse resolution and a way smaller camera sensor taking way lower quality videos and pictures, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture. The Huawei Mate X has a bit longer battery performance than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V50 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the LG V50 ThinQ, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
