The Huawei Mate X2 is just a bit better than LG V50 ThinQ, having an 89.1 score against 83.7. The Huawei Mate X2 is a newer and a little bit thinner cellphone than the LG V50 ThinQ, but it's a lot heavier. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.

Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG V50 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has more RAM. LG V50 ThinQ features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little worse 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen.

LG V50 ThinQ features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate X2 features a little bit better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a much smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a back camera with a lot better resolution.

Huawei Mate X2 features a bit longer battery lifetime than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V50 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG V50 ThinQ, letting go some features and specifications.
