Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than the LG V50 ThinQ, with an 88.2 score against 83.7. The Huawei P40 Pro is a newer phone than the LG V50 ThinQ, but it is a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. These phones use the same Android 10 OS, so both should give you all the same operating system features. The Huawei P40 Pro and LG V50 ThinQ feature similar processing units, and although the Huawei P40 Pro has a larger amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
LG V50 ThinQ has a little sharper display than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater display pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120px. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a lot better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a much smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a camera with lot more megapixels and a much bigger sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos.

Huawei P40 Pro has a bit longer battery lifetime than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 5 percent larger battery size.
