Comparison review
LG V50 ThinQ has an overall score of 83.7, which is slightly better than the LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 score. The LG V50 ThinQ construction has the same thickness than LG G8X ThinQ, but it is just a bit lighter. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 10 OS, so both of them should give the same OS features.
LG V50 ThinQ features a little sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a same size display, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a greater screen pixels density. The LG G8X ThinQ and LG V50 ThinQ count with extremely similar storage capacity to store more apps and games, both have the same 128 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8X ThinQ's CPU is very similar to the LG V50 ThinQ one, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The LG V50 ThinQ shoots a bit better pictures and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video resolution, the LG V50 ThinQ also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low light images and video.
LG G8X ThinQ features a battery performance that's just as good as the battery life in LG V50 ThinQ.
Although LG V50 ThinQ is a better device, it is a little more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8X ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
