Comparison review
The LG V50 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Galaxy A31, getting a overall score of 83.7 against 81.3. LG V50 ThinQ is an older cellphone than Galaxy A31, but LG managed to make it just a bit thinner and a bit lighter anyway. Both of these phones include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
The LG V50 ThinQ features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a higher screen pixels density and a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution. The LG V50 ThinQ features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A31, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG V50 ThinQ has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V50 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a slightly better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a much tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and videos in low-light situations and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot larger sensor and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Galaxy A31 features superior battery duration than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity.
