The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a global score of 85.5, which is slightly better than the LG V50 ThinQ's score of 83.7. These phones work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A51 has newer 11 version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10, giving a couple additional features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy A51 design is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than LG V50 ThinQ, even though they were released with only 8 months difference.
LG V50 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The LG V50 ThinQ has a little more vivid display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery lifetime in LG V50 ThinQ.
Galaxy A51 has a superior camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images and/or video in low light situations and slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality photographs and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs more money than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V50 ThinQ. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the LG V50 ThinQ, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
