Galaxy A71 5G UW is much better than LG V50 ThinQ, having a 92.9 score against 83.7. Galaxy A71 5G UW is a a bit heavier cellphone than the LG V50 ThinQ, but both of them have the same thickness. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
LG V50 ThinQ features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel amount per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. LG V50 ThinQ features more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A71 5G UW, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The LG V50 ThinQ has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A71 5G UW, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW features just a little better battery duration than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery capacity. The Galaxy A71 5G UW takes better videos and photos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Galaxy A71 5G UW also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs and a way more MP camera in the back.

If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the LG V50 ThinQ, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
