Comparison review

The Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is much better than LG V50 ThinQ's score of 83.7. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it offers some nice extra features and performance enhancements. The Galaxy Fold design is thinner but heavier than LG V50 ThinQ, and they were released with only 5 months difference.

The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel quantity in each inch of display and a little higher 1440 x 3120px resolution. Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit superior CPU than LG V50 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Fold counts with a little longer battery lifetime than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Fold's camera is just as good as the camera in LG V50 ThinQ, and although the Galaxy Fold has a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality photos, they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same (4K) video quality, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same aperture.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V50 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG V50 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
