Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S21 Ultra has newer 11 version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10, offering some extra features and increased performance.

Galaxy S21 Ultra has just a bit better performance than LG V50 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S21 Ultra also has 6 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy S21 Ultra has a more vivid display than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a little bit inferior pixels amount in each screen inch, it also counts with a quite better 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution and a bit larger display.

Galaxy S21 Ultra shoots greater photos and videos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a much larger sensor, a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels and a lot better 7680x4320 video definition.

LG V50 ThinQ features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S21 Ultra, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy S21 Ultra features superior battery duration than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 25% greater battery size.

Although Galaxy S21 Ultra is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V50 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S21 Ultra, else you can save some money and get the LG V50 ThinQ, resigning a couple features and specifications.
